Naomi's Posture
The ministry name “Naomi’s Posture” is derived from the Book of Ruth, which tells a story of a mother, wife and mother-in-law who faced tragedy and managed to maintain an erect posture during her transition. Naomi means pleasant or beautiful but she requested to be called Mara which means bitter, because, “The Lord dealt bitterly with her”. Daily we face bitter, cold, and disenchanting situations but the key to navigating the storm is our posture. The palm tree is a symbol of victory and its celebrated for its resilience and tenacity to stand tall in turbulent conditions.
Naomi’s Posture is a women’s ministry designed to meet the social and spiritual needs of Women in Transition. Naomi’s Posture is designed to encourage, empower, and strengthen women that are in transition.
Naomi’s Posture is a compilation of women from all patterns of life with varied relationship status; single, married, divorced, separated, which are between turns yet focusing on God’s purpose for their lives.
